I Hate To Stereotype, But Sometimes It's So Easy

This being the lesbian capital of the Northeast, if not the country, the local venues are often played by GLBT-friendly artists. Not being a G, L, B, or T myself, I am not as deeply steeped in this particular genre of music as others in town. It's not uncommon for the "L"s of town to be whipped into a Beatles-like frenzy because some female folk-guitar duo is going to be playing, of which I can only respond with "Who?".
It all sounds like pops, clicks, and wailing cats to me...
