Going Against The Grain (#1018)
For what it's worth, if I was fifteen years younger and had a shred of idealism left I'd probably be out there with a picket sign myself. These days I find myself precociously balanced between a look back ("Was I ever so naive?") and the doom ahead ("Will I ever be so closed-minded?"). Complacency begins with a look at your watch and a thought that while you feel the sentiment of argument, you'd really rather go to sleep early in your own warm bed. Plus you've got that thing to do tomorrow..
